Note: We only accept papers completed during undergraduate study.
1. Content
Your paper may address a wide array of topics, including Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Law, Corporate Ethics, and Public Policy. Evaluation will be based upon three factors:
- Sound analysis
- Originality of argument
- Novelty of research
2. Guidelines/Requirements
For your paper to be considered, please follow the guidelines below. Remember that by submitting, you are giving the Michigan Journal of Business the right to copyright and publication.
General requirements:
- Your paper must have been completed during undergradute study
- Your paper may not be already published or submitted for review at any other journal
- Your paper must include a short abstract, author information, and any acknowledgements (will be published)
Formatting requirements:
- Your paper must be a double-spaced PDF or Microsoft Word document with 12 point font
- Your paper must use Chicago Style citations/footnotes and stylistic guidelines
- Your paper must not contain any color - all images/graphics must be in grayscale
- All formulas/graphics must be submitted electronically as part of the Word document, and must be in high resolution (Excel-generated graphics should be embedded as an Excel object, not as an image file). If your paper was written using LaTeX, please submit a PDF and we may ask for the LaTeX file at a later time.
